The SCOPA board oversees the finances of our nonprofit parent support organization, reviews and approves director funding requests, organizes fundraising events and weekly Bingo Nights, and provides volunteer support for selected A-Wing events.

SCOPA hosts quarterly meetings open to all interested parents. SCOPA board officers and committee chairs meet monthly.
Our 2023-24 open meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Choir Room, located in Silver Creek’s A-Wing, on the following dates:

Monday, February 12
Monday, May 20

SCOPA’s 2023-24 committees will include the Bingo committee and the Winter Gala committee.
The Bingo committee will meet quarterly to review bingo practices and plan special family-night events at the Bingo Alley.
The Winter Gala committee will meet during the fall semester, with the purpose of planning and putting on a wonderful Gala event in December.

Bingo:
SCOPA Bingo runs every Sunday night at 6 p.m. at the Longmont Bingo Alley. Each week, parent and student volunteers help us from 5-9 p.m. to run sessions that raise funds and community awareness.
Winter Gala:
SCOPA’s Winter Gala is our major annual fundraising event. We need parent volunteers to help before, during, and after each performance, and also with auditorium decoration during the week prior. Watch this space for info on the December 2024 Winter Gala!
How will you help?
Do you take great photos and videos? Do you have fundraising experience, financial expertise, or event planning skills? Do you love to cook for a crowd of hungry high schoolers? Do you enjoy being around other local families and having a great time building community? Whatever you can do, we’d love your help!
